I completed bachelors degrees in psychology and computer science with a minor in French from Concordia College in 2005. I also completed a master’s degree in general psychology from Central Connecticut State University in 2009 and joined the doctoral program in counseling psychology at VCU in 2011. My research interests include psychosocial aspects of chronic illness with a specific interest in health disparities, health behaviors, treatment seeking and mental health in transplantation. I am also interested in the impact of culture and race on mental and physical health, and positive psychology.
