I received my bachelor's degree in psychology and human physiology from the University of Iowa in May 2013, and began graduate work at VCU in August 2013. My research interests are centered on the cognitive abilities of youth and adults with ADHD. I am also interested in how children and adolescents are assessed by psychologists, and how clinicians can best link assessment strategies with treatment recommendations. My recent publications have focused on the written expression abilities of adolescents with ADHD, including evaluating the prevalence of impairment in writing abilities and the common patterns of written expression impairment.
