My research interests fall broadly under minority mental health. I am interested in examining the impact of cultural (e.g., racism, heterosexism), institutional (e.g., mental health treatment disparities), family and individual-level variables on the mental health of racial/ethnic and sexual minority populations across the lifespan. I am particularly interested in identifying factors that might promote mental health and well-being for minority populations and translating these findings into clinical practice.
