General information about graduate study at VCU can be obtained from the VCU Graduate School website. Application for graduate study in psychology with an emphasis in developmental psychology should be initiated online from the VCU Graduate School admissions page. Please note that there is not a separate application for the program or department.

Our aim is to recruit graduate students who fit well with our mission and whose career goals we can meet successfully. Applications are evaluated holistically on a number of criteria, including previous experience (research, professional and personal), past academic record, scholarship potential, letters of recommendation, the ability to collaborate and work well in teams, and more. All admitted students are accepted for full time study.
