I completed my bachelor’s degree in psychology at The Ohio State University and joined the counseling psychology doctoral program in 2013. Prior to beginning graduate training, I worked as a research assistant at both Case Western Reserve University and at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in the Center for Biobehavioral Health. My research and clinical interests broadly include women’s physical health, reproduction, body image disturbances and weight management. My dissertation work examines factors influencing excessive gestational weight gain and postpartum weight retention to improve patient-provider interactions and maternal and child health outcomes.
