I completed my bachelor's degree in psychology at Whitworth University in the spring of 2013, and I joined the doctoral program in counseling psychology at VCU in the fall of 2013. My research interests include the etiological overlap between eating disorders and obesity. More specifically, I am interested in understanding the sociocultural factors that contribute to these conditions and the development and implementation of community interventions that prevent the spectrum of weight-related disorders.
