I completed my bachelor’s degrees in psychology and religious studies from Texas Christian University in 2016 and joined the doctoral program in clinical psychology at VCU in the fall of 2016. My research interests include understanding how systems of meaning, such as religiosity and spirituality, influence psychological well-being and health. Moreover, my research interests address the quality of life of advanced cancer patients and their caregivers, including reducing existential distress and improving symptoms of insomnia. During the 2022-2023 academic year, I will complete my pre-doctoral internship in the Behavioral Medicine service at Yale University School of Medicine.
