Developmental Psychology Admissions
All applications to the Ph.D. program must be submitted via the VCU admissions portal.
Please note that there is not a separate application for the program or department. General information about graduate study at VCU can be obtained from the VCU Graduate School website.
The deadline for applications is December 1.
Admission Requirements
Our aim is to recruit graduate students who fit well with our mission and whose career goals we can meet successfully. Applications are evaluated holistically on a number of criteria, including previous experience (research, professional and personal), past academic record, scholarship potential, letters of recommendation, the ability to collaborate and work well in teams, and more. All admitted students are accepted for full time study.
